“Target Disaster Responce Force”

Target Disaster Response Force (TDRF) is a voluntary disaster management and humanitarian service organization dedicated to building disaster-resilient communities across India. Established in 2005, TDRF has been actively working in the field of disaster preparedness, rescue operations, and community awareness.

For more than two decades, the organization has been committed to serving society through training programs, emergency response initiatives, and public awareness campaigns. TDRF conducts practical training in disaster management, search and rescue, first aid, and emergency preparedness for students, youth, government personnel, and local communities.

Our mission is to build resilient and disaster-prepared communities by equipping citizens with essential life-saving skills, reducing the impact of disasters, and helping save maximum lives during both natural and human-made emergencies.

Over the years, TDRF has trained thousands of youth and volunteers and has actively participated in various rescue and relief operations, including borewell rescue operations, flood relief work, emergency search-and-rescue missions, and disaster response activities carried out in coordination with district administrations.

Under the leadership of Founder & Director Shri Harishchandra Badrinath Rathod, TDRF continues to expand its training and awareness programs across schools, colleges, government departments, police units, NSS, NCC, and rural communities, with the aim of building a safer and disaster-resilient nation.

TDRF works with the core values of service, courage, discipline, and dedication to the nation, striving to build a safer and disaster-prepared India.

The mission of TDRF is to create awareness among citizens about disaster preparedness and emergency response. The organization also aims to inspire and motivate the youth of India to serve the nation by encouraging them to join the Army, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary forces. Director’s Message

Dear Colleagues and Fellow Citizens,

For more than two decades, the Target Disaster Response Force (TDRF) has been serving the nation with integrity, discipline, and dedication in the fields of disaster management, national service, and social development. Our commitment is to contribute towards building a safe, capable, and disaster-resilient India—where every citizen feels secure and confident even in times of crisis.

Today, India is continuously strengthening its capacity to respond effectively to both natural and human-induced disasters. In this important national effort, the trained volunteers, youth, and officers of TDRF are contributing across the country through awareness campaigns, practical training programs, and emergency response operations. For us, this service is not merely a responsibility; it is a reflection of our deep sense of duty and commitment toward the nation.

TDRF firmly believes that disaster management is not only the responsibility of institutions but also the duty and responsibility of every citizen. Guided by this philosophy, TDRF has provided disaster management awareness and life-saving training to a large number of youth, government officers and employees, students, citizens from both urban and rural communities, women and men, senior citizens, and children. Over the years, our teams have successfully carried out several challenging Search and Rescue operations during emergencies, helping to protect and save many lives.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the respected government officials, IAS and IPS officers, Hon’ble Governors of various states, senior officers of the Indian Air Force, and other military and civil authorities who have appreciated TDRF’s work and provided their valuable guidance, support, and encouragement.
